Default Web editor

The popular choice is Dreamweaver. But Microsoft has dumped its Frontpage product and introduced a worthy competitor of Dreamweaver called Expression Web. Have you tried this new web editor?

Nope, and I don't plan to. When I edit things I use Notepad. If you know your code then there's no reason to use something to do the work for you.

Notepad rocks! :)

CTRL-S is the only function I need. ;)

I still use web editor because it can facilitate task completion. Instead of doing repetitive tasks, I let my web editor do the tasks while I think of solutions. That is productivity for me.

if it's not broke I don't fix it, so I use Dreamweaver all of the way. The feature that alerts me to errors in my code is a lifesaver for me. I'm still new to learning design so I might give Notepad a shot one day, but for now it's Dreamweaver.
