the short answer: yes
long answer: First of all, you need to check if the websites are on the same server, if they are not, you need to make it so that each of the servers can access the mysql server from anything other than Localhost. check with your administrator for TCP/IP access to your mysql database. |

Sure, why not...? As long as you make sure that all the websites have the same server and there is no any further corruption or crushing between the sites, then you're ready to go with it!

Having the same database doesn't necessarily mean that you're pulling the same content.
I'd recommend having different table prefixes even if you're using different web scripts to avoid corrupt data though and if you do that, you should be fine. |
