Consoles have one advantage. Exclusivity. A console can get bonus sales by being the only system to run a popular game. There is no technical benefit to owning a console over a pc.

No technical benefit.. Are you kidding me? Unless you have an ultra-modern PC a high-end game will sure give you some lags whereas in console there won't be any..

Look at the difference between the graphics on a game on your computer and then look at the same game on a console, most games you will see the graphics are way better on the PC.

If your computer cant handle the game just turn down the settings and should stop any lag you get, unless you have a really old ass computer

I run a 1.7Ghz Celeron, and by playing with graphic details, I can run pretty much any game out there. Some games are just coded better than others also.

Oh, and I'm guessing my 256MB vid card helps out alot too. :)

If you have a really hi-end video card then you may expect some pretty looking graphics, but consoles can have almost ( if not exactly ) good looking graphics as that of PC .. I still vote for consoles! , thou theres a harsh fact that consoles lower the 'intensity' of games.. :(

PC Gaming will never die. Console gaming is a bigger risk. Every console Sony or anyone makes, they lose money on it and they make profit from the games. Games are cheaper to produce for the PC due to the universal nature of PCs.

PC is like a gentlemans suit, and consoles are like funky outfits. Those outfits soon go out of fashion, the gentlemans suit has changed little for 200 years, and every man has one to this day.

hmm its cheaper to update a PC and u can do it from time to time than get a console every year or something, just cos ther's exlcusive games. Well i'm not much of a player really, and when i play its just on PC
