Default Windows Vista Upgrade

After the RC release of SP1 for Windows Vista, I've seen several posts of people performing an Upgrade to Windows XP. :)

I consider myself fortunate that I never purchased or installed Windows Vista.

There seems to be some flaws in this OS which people are getting really turned off about. One of its inabilities is copying large media files over a network. It grinds to a virtual stop (citing over 32,000 days to complete) while copying.

Is Vista the equivalent to to the disappointment of ME (Millennium Edition) which on average was considered a joke. Is it paving the way to a better version to be released in the future?

Let's hope so.

I think I'll just wait until Windows 7 (or whatever it's going to be called)

Also, I poked fun at Vista on my blog: Gorgeous On Life » Day 1264: The 12 Days Of Vista

:)

SP1 beta or not, I'm still sticking to XP.

Remember Windows ME? A stepping stone toward XP. I believe Vista to be the same senario. Something tells me the next Windows will simply rock!
