do you believe that aliens exist? i don't really know if i believe they exist, but i don't rule it out either. i remember a documentary about it on discovery a long time ago and after watching it, i was like "yeah, it is possible they exist" but now i can't rememer those 'proofs'.

It's simple math ;) the rule of the big numbers. let's say there is 100.000.000 stars are outhere (just like our Sun). (much much more really, i just want to show you something ;)

Let's pretend that only 10% of these have planets.
And only 10% of these have the proper conditions for life.
And only 10% of these have some sort of life ...
and finally I'm talking about 100.000 so called solar system with life in it... is it intelligent? nobody knows ... the rule of the big numbers.

I was never sceptic about alien existence. I believe they are out there. And I also believe that they are watching us ... ARGH ...

There is one other thing to consider when dealing in this subject.

Let's talk about Time. Our existance in the universe is a mere split second in the grand scheme of things. Couple that with the fact that conditions need to be "just right" to establish the building blocks of life on any planet.

The odds of another race existing at this particular time in the universe, are at best, astronomical. Chances are, no two races will ever exist at the same time. There might be past and future occurances of other races, but numbers would dictate that in all likelyhood, we are alone.

But, stranger things have happened. So who knows.

i remember something about the pyramids... how it was almost impossible for the humans with no technical help to put all those boulders up. and the pyramid (was it the giza? anyway...one of the pyramids) was at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical line of the earth or something. hehe. not big on scientific terms.

I didn't say it was impossible, just very improbable.

Personally, I would like to live long enough to know that we aren't alone in the universe. I'm just not holding much hope is all.

Besides, if a higher intelligence were to visit us, they would take one look at CNN and decide right then and there that we need to be exterminated, not embraced.

Maybe we're better off alone. Just my opinion.

I believe that it is highly possible that their are aliens. The universe is a very big place. Do I think there are other life forms much like our own? No. If there are aliens I am sure they are quite different from the people and animals here on Earth.

nobody can tell, but if god could create life over earth then sure he could create it over other planets, but believe me shavei7 the pyramids in Giza wasn't build by aliens, it was build by human civilization.

I think that it's a pretty big place and if it's just us, seems like an awful waste of space :)
