A lot of webmasters are now seeing it as the Alexa of directories.

In my opinion Alexa is and always be one of the most relied on sites when it comes to actual traffic rank.

It's used a lot but no one determines anything about a site based on Alexa. It's not accurate.

WoW, I didn't know how slicky and greedy this DMOZ's editor was, until you told me here, Jerlene. By the way, I won't bother to get my sites listed in DMOZ, as I don't even need it at all!

You simply cannot decide based on the opinion of two. Check out some other forum or google out about Dmoz.
